Guide Water Nobody Else Can Walk Into.

Private ranch stretches and spring creeks, booked by club members who already paid to be there. Free to join, free to be verified, and you keep every dollar of the rate you set.

Free to apply and free to be listed. You set your own rate and your own available days.

The part of guiding nobody advertises

You're not short of skill. You're short of the right days.

  • The shop keeps the client

You run the trip, they own the relationship. Next season the booking goes through them again, at whatever split they've decided on.

  • Public water is a race

You're at the pullout before light hoping nobody beat you to the run you told your client about, and explaining crowds you can't control.

  • The calendar is lumpy

Booked solid in July, empty in May and October, and the marketplaces that could fill those days take 15–20% to do it.

Keep your full rate

You set your day rate and receive all of it on every completed trip. The 10% service fee is added to the angler's bill, not taken out of yours.

Water with nobody on it

Private ranch stretches and spring creeks within a couple of hours of the Front Range. No dawn race to the pullout, no explaining the crowd to your client.

Verified once, listed for good

Background check, Colorado outfitter registration where it applies, and proof of insurance. Clear it once and your profile stays live.

How guiding on AnglerPass works

  1. STEP 01

    Get verified once

Background check, proof of liability insurance, and your state guide or outfitter licence where your state issues one. Free to apply.

  2. STEP 02

    Get approved for the water

The club that manages a property approves the guides who may work it. Approved once, you're on that water — no per-trip permission.

  3. STEP 03

Anglers add you to trips they're booking

When a member reserves a fishing day, you appear as a guide they can add. You set your rate and your available days.

Club members book fishing days on this water every month, and a guide can be added to any one of them. Get verified now and yours is among the first profiles an angler sees.

Paid by direct deposit after a 7-day post-trip hold; you'll complete Stripe's standard account verification before your first payout.

Fair questions

What guides ask us before they bother applying.

  • How much work should I expect?

We are not going to promise you a number, and you should be sceptical of any platform that does. What we can tell you is the shape of it: club members book fishing days on this private water every month, a guide can be added to any one of those bookings, and there is no queue of verified guides ahead of you. Being early is the whole advantage — your profile is among the first an angler sees when they add a guide to a trip.

  • Do I have to give up my own clients or my shop work?

No. Nothing here is exclusive. You set which days you're available, and a day you don't open is a day nobody can book. Most guides who join early will use it for the shoulder weeks the shop can't fill.

  • What does 'verified' actually involve?

A third-party background check, proof of current liability insurance, and your state guide or outfitter licence where your state issues one — Colorado, Montana and Idaho do; Wyoming does not verify fishing guides the same way. We collect and check those documents. To be precise about what that means: we confirm you provided them and that they were current, which is not the same as us warranting your coverage.

  • What happens if a client cancels?

Your dates go back on your calendar automatically, so a cancellation never quietly leaves a day blocked. Cancellation terms sit with the club that manages the water — tell us where you want to work and we will tell you exactly what applies there before you commit a date.
