The Problem

A Premier Ecosystem,
Running on Manual Systems

Private fly fishing has an access problem.
Not a lack of interest — a lack of infrastructure.

Scattered Management

Landowners manage private water access through phone calls, emails, and handshake agreements. There's no centralized system to organize properties, schedules, or inquiries.

Club Friction

Fly fishing clubs handle memberships, scheduling, and communications through spreadsheets and group texts. Administrative overhead eats into the time members should spend on the water.

Discovery Gaps

Individual anglers have limited ways to find and book legitimate private water experiences. Most access still depends on who you know, not what's available.

Trust Deficit

Without a structured platform, trust between landowners, clubs, and anglers relies on informal networks. That limits growth and keeps the market fragmented.

How It Works

One Platform. Three Distinct Roles.

AnglerPass connects the private water ecosystem through a shared platform designed for every stakeholder.

Network Effect

The Cross-Club Network

One membership. An expanding network of private water. Clubs on AnglerPass opt in to reciprocal access agreements — your members fish water managed by partner clubs, and theirs fish yours.

Reciprocal Access

Clubs choose their partners and set their own terms. Full control over who fishes your water and when.

Growing Network

Every club that joins expands the water available to every member. The network compounds with scale.

Trust Built In

Every angler is club-vetted. Landowners and partner clubs know exactly who’s on the water.

Our Approach

Bringing Structure to the Waters That Matter Most

Private waters represent some of the best fly fishing on the planet. But the systems around them — scheduling, memberships, access management — haven't kept up with the quality of the experience.

AnglerPass exists to close that gap. By giving landowners, clubs, and anglers the tools they've been missing, we make private water access more organized, more sustainable, and more accessible to the right people.

Preserve Quality Access

Help landowners maintain the integrity of their waters while opening controlled access.

Modernize Operations

Give clubs real software to replace the patchwork of spreadsheets, texts, and emails.

Elevate the Angler Experience

Make discovering and booking private waters as professional as the experience itself.

The best fishing isn't about finding any water. It's about finding the right water — and earning access to it.

FAQ

Common questions

AnglerPass is a software platform built for the private fly fishing ecosystem. It connects landowners, fly fishing clubs, and individual anglers through tools for property management, membership operations, reservations, and access coordination — all in one place.
AnglerPass serves three core audiences: private landowners who want to manage water access professionally, fly fishing clubs that need membership and scheduling tools, and individual anglers looking to discover and book private water fly fishing experiences. Every property listing shows its daily rod capacity so anglers know upfront how many rods may share the water on any given day.
Not yet. AnglerPass is currently under active development. We’re building the platform with direct input from landowners, clubs, and experienced anglers. You can join the waitlist to get priority access and development updates as we approach launch.
Yes. Landowners can register properties, create professional profiles, define access rules, and manage availability calendars. Every property must be associated with at least one fly fishing club before it can be published — clubs serve as the trust and vetting layer for anglers who book access. If your club isn’t on AnglerPass yet, you can invite them directly from the property registration flow.
Yes — and it’s not an afterthought. AnglerPass gives clubs best-in-class member management software in the cloud, purpose-built for fly fishing. Digital rosters, member vetting and applications, access scheduling, reservation coordination, property management, and member communications — all available at launch. Most clubs run on spreadsheets, group texts, and handshake agreements. AnglerPass replaces all of that with a single platform designed around how clubs actually operate.
All bookings on AnglerPass go through club membership. Anglers join a fly fishing club, get vetted as a member, and then book private water through their club’s access agreements with landowners. A 15% platform fee is added to each booking. If your club participates in cross-club access, you can also book water managed by other clubs in the network.
You can sign up using the form on this page. Enter your name, email, and role (landowner, club, or angler), and we’ll add you to our priority list. You’ll receive updates on our development progress and an early invitation when we’re ready to launch.
Yes. If you’re a landowner with private water to manage, a club looking for better operations tools, or an angler interested in helping shape the platform, we’d welcome the conversation. Reach out through the early access link on the waitlist form or contact us directly.
Conservation

Protecting the Waters We Fish

AnglerPass is built on a simple belief: the best fishing experiences are inseparable from the health of the waters where they happen. Every feature, partnership, and policy is measured against that principle.

1%
Revenue to Carbon Removal

Every dollar processed through AnglerPass contributes to permanent carbon removal through Stripe Climate — pulling CO₂ out of the atmosphere and locking it away.

3 Pillars
Conservation Model

Habitat preservation, controlled access, and climate action form the foundation of our approach — built into the platform, not bolted on.

Every
Booking Funds Stewardship

Access fees flow directly to landowners, creating a sustainable incentive for continued investment in riparian habitat, water quality, and fish populations.

How We Protect

Controlled Access

Rod limits, time slots, and seasonal closures prevent overuse. Clubs vet every angler before granting access to private waters.

Landowner Stewardship

Revenue from access fees gives landowners a direct financial reason to invest in habitat improvement rather than alternative land use.

Carbon Removal

1% of revenue goes to Stripe Climate, funding permanent carbon removal technologies like direct air capture and enhanced weathering.

Conservation Partners

We work with organizations like Trout Unlimited, local watershed groups, and EarthNow to deepen our impact beyond the platform.

Conservation Partnerships

Interested in partnering with AnglerPass on conservation? Whether you represent a conservation organization, land trust, watershed group, or simply want to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
