Private water is made possible through responsible, club-vetted access. Participating clubs approve their members and maintain the relationships that give anglers access to these properties.
Why access starts with a club
It's not an open marketplace
Every angler reaches private water through a fly-fishing club, and the club decides who its members are.
Vetting is the whole mechanism
A landowner opens a gate because a club they trust vouched for the people coming through it — not because someone paid a fee online.

Acceptance is not guaranteed. Clubs set their own membership criteria, initiation fees, and annual dues, and AnglerPass does not decide who they admit.
AnglerPass launched with the Rocky Mountain Angling Club and its private water, which is concentrated in Colorado with a property in Wyoming and one in Virginia. We are onboarding more clubs and landowners now.
What it costs
AnglerPass account

Club membership
$175
per year, plus a one-time $350 initiation. Set by the club.
Fishing day
$45–$250
per rod, set by the landowner. AnglerPass adds 15%, shown in full before you confirm.
In practice: a first year of club membership plus a handful of fishing days lands well under what the same number of guided days would cost — and the water is private either way.
Angler Pro is an optional membership for rewards and priority.It is never required to book.
