The Cold Springs Ranch, near Crested Butte, has 1 1/2 miles of the 40-foot wide East River. Few anglers have ever fished this section of the river, and it contains good populations of rainbows to 16 inches and browns to 18 inches. NOTE: Available on odd days only.

The property was as described. The fishing was not up to it's standard of the past. I have fished it many times over the last 15 years and normally caught plenty of trout; mostly Browns with some Rainbows and occasionally a Cutthroat. This trip I caught 11 Browns; Three were 10 to 12 inches and the rest very small. I will fish it again and I believe it will get better.
