First Season Drawing
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
The First Season Drawing (the “Drawing”) is sponsored and administered by Angler Pass LLC, a Colorado limited liability company (“AnglerPass,” “we,” “us,” “our”). The Drawing is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any club, landowner, guide, or other third party whose goods or services may appear as a prize.
2. Eligibility
The Drawing is open only to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, all other U.S. territories and possessions, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
Employees, officers, members, and contractors of Angler Pass LLC, and the immediate family members and households of each, are not eligible. AnglerPass ambassadors and other participants in a commissioned referral program are not eligible to earn referral entries under Section 4(b) or 4(c), because they are already compensated for the same activity; they remain eligible for review entries and for free entries under Section 5.
3. Entry period
The Drawing begins at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time on October 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on December 31, 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Entries must be earned or received within the Entry Period to qualify. Our clock is the official timekeeper of the Drawing.
4. How to earn entries
During the Entry Period you may earn entries in the following ways. Entries are automatic; there is nothing to claim.
- (a) Submit a trip review — 1 entry each. Submit a review of a completed AnglerPass trip while that trip’s review window is open. A trip’s review window opens when the trip is completed and closes 60 days later, unless extended. Your open reviews, and the date each one closes, are listed on the reviews page in your account. Reviews of trips whose window has already closed cannot be submitted and do not earn entries. Every submitted review earns exactly one entry regardless of the rating you give. Star ratings, sentiment, and the content of your review have no effect on the number of entries you receive. Reviews removed for violating our review policy do not earn entries.
- (b) Refer an angler who joins AnglerPass — 1 entry each. Invite another angler using your personal referral link or the invite tool in your account. You earn one entry when that person creates an AnglerPass account and that account remains in good standing through the drawing date.
- (c) A referred angler joins a club — 9 additional entries. If an angler you referred under 4(b) is admitted to a club through AnglerPass during the Entry Period, you earn 9 additional entries, for a total of 10 entries for that referral. Admission is decided solely by the club, not by AnglerPass. If a club does not admit your referral, you keep the entry earned under 4(b) but do not earn these additional entries, and AnglerPass has no obligation to award them.
Only the first AnglerPass account created at a given email address counts as a referral. Self-referrals, referrals of an address you control, duplicate or automated signups, purchased email lists, and accounts created for the purpose of generating entries do not earn entries and may result in disqualification under Section 11.
5. Free alternative method of entry
You do not have to book a trip, pay for anything, or hold any paid AnglerPass plan to enter or win. To request free entries, mail a postcard with your full name, mailing address, email address, date of birth, and the handwritten words “Enter me in the AnglerPass First Season Drawing” to:
First Season Drawing
Angler Pass LLC
209 Kalamath St, Unit 1
Denver, CO 80223
Each postcard received during the Entry Period earns one entry and carries the same chance of winning as any entry earned under Section 4. Limit 25 postcard entries per person for the Entry Period. Postcards must be handwritten by the entrant, postmarked within the Entry Period, and received no later than January 7, 2027. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, or bulk-submitted postcards are void. AnglerPass is not responsible for mail that is late, lost, misdirected, damaged, or has insufficient postage.
6. Entry limits
There is no cap on review entries earned under Section 4(a), since each one requires a separate completed trip. Referral entries earned under Sections 4(b) and 4(c) are capped at 50 entries per person for the Entry Period. Each entrant may hold only one AnglerPass account; entries across multiple accounts held by the same person will be consolidated or voided at our discretion.
7. Prizes
12 prizes will be awarded, with a total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $1,950:
- 1× Season bundle — One year of standard individual club dues at a participating club, plus two fishing days on private water. ARV $555 each.
- 3× Fishing day — One day of private water access booked through AnglerPass. ARV $190 each.
- 3× Club dues, covered — One year of standard individual club dues at a participating club. ARV $175 each.
- 5× AnglerPass gear — A selection of AnglerPass-branded gear. ARV $60 each.
Each entrant may win at most one prize, and no single prize has an approximate retail value of $600 or more. Prizes are awarded “as is,” are not transferable, and may not be substituted, exchanged, or redeemed for cash, except that AnglerPass reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Club dues prizes cover one year of standard individual dues at a participating club, up to the stated ARV, and do not include initiation fees, assessments, guest fees, or any amount above the stated ARV. Admission to a club remains subject to that club’s own application and approval process and is not guaranteed by this Drawing; if a winner is not admitted to a participating club, we will substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Fishing day prizes are subject to property availability, seasonal closures, applicable club rules, a signed liability waiver, and a valid state fishing license, and must be redeemed by December 31, 2027. Travel, lodging, licenses, gear, guide gratuities, and all other expenses are the winner’s responsibility.
8. Drawing and notification
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about January 5, 2027, conducted by AnglerPass, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Drawing.
Each potential winner will be notified at the email address on their AnglerPass account, or at the address on their postcard entry, within five business days of the drawing. A potential winner must respond and, where we request it, return a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability release within ten days of the date notification is sent. If a potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or fails to return required documents, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be drawn from the remaining eligible entries.
9. Odds of winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
10. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize values are reported where required by law. We may require a winner to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 or equivalent taxpayer information before a prize is released, and may withhold a prize until we receive it.
11. Conditions and disqualification
By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of AnglerPass, which are final. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to disqualify any person we believe has tampered with the entry process, created duplicate or fraudulent accounts, submitted reviews for trips they did not take, solicited referrals through spam or purchased lists, or otherwise acted in violation of these Rules, our Terms of Service, or the spirit of fair play.
We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Drawing, in whole or in part, if fraud, a technical failure, or any other factor beyond our reasonable control impairs its integrity or proper functioning, and in that case to award prizes from among eligible entries received before the impairing event.
12. Privacy
Information you submit in connection with the Drawing is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Entering the Drawing does not subscribe you to marketing email, and declining marketing email does not affect your entries or your chance of winning. Except where prohibited, accepting a prize constitutes permission for AnglerPass to use the winner’s first name, last initial, and state for the winners list described in Section 15, without further compensation.
13. Limitation of liability
By entering, you release Angler Pass LLC and its members, officers, contractors, and agents from any claim or liability arising out of participation in the Drawing or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, including without limitation personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from fishing or travel undertaken in connection with a prize. Fishing on private water involves inherent risks, which you assume.
We are not responsible for entries or notifications that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or not received for any reason, nor for any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation, or failure of any network, server, or provider.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of the Drawing will be resolved as set out in our Terms of Service.
15. Winners list
For a list of winners available after January 31, 2027, email support@anglerpass.com with the subject line “First Season Drawing winners list,” or write to the address in Section 5.
